Your First Visit

Visits to doctors can be intimidating, especially when it's your first time. Here are some questions you may have. Please read through them all, and email or call us with any other questions you may have. Who knows? Maybe your question will be featured!

Q: What will happen?

A: When you arrive at our clinic, Office Manager, Jamie will collect necessary insurance information. You will need to give her your information for verification and record-keeping. There is also a forms to fill out for you to tell us about your injury or condition. Once the paperwork is done, one of the Doctors will take an oral history and physical examination to arrive at a diagnosis. A treatment will be given based on the findings and presentation. If necessary,

x-rays will be taken on-site.

Q: How long will it take?

A: Each case is different. In most cases, the first visit will take 60 minutes. Subsequent treatments will take between 10 and 20 minutes. We understand your time is limited, yet we have an obligation to you to provide a thorough examination and develop an effective treatment plan.

Q: How much will it cost?

A: It is difficult to specify an exact fee, as each case requires a different level of examination and duration. All fees will be clearly discussed before treatment is rendered. If you have a financial hardship, Office Manager Jamie can work with you on other payment options.

Q: Can I bring my spouse/parent/friend?

A: Yes! In fact we encourage you to bring a significant relative since research has shown that a strong social support system aids in quicker healing. They do not need to be present for the history, examination, or treatment. However they are invited to the report of findings.

Q: Will my insurance pay for treatments?

A: Many of them will, but each plan is different. For us to give you the most accurate answer, we need some information from you. During your first visit we will attempt to verify your coverage. If you would like to know your benefits before you come, please contact us and we will collect necessary information to verify your coverage.
